At Star Line, passenger safety is our top priority! During these periods of increased illness, we want to ensure you we will be taking extra precautions. We will be following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidance – Steps to Prevent Illness.
Star Line Preventative Measures
Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces before and after EACH departure. Cleaning and disinfecting will take place both in the ticket office and on the boats. This includes but not limited to doorknobs, light switches, counter tops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks, chairs, polls, ramp rails.
Take steps to protect yourself
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
If space is available, distance yourself to limit contact with others who may potentially be infected.
