The festival will be held during the Lilac Festival on Mackinac Island – a fitting location for the event as it is a well-known destination on the Great Lakes. Visitors can expect a fun day of festivities, including live music, pirate-themed contests and games, Good Fortune pirate boat tours, pirate vendors, and plenty of tasty food and drinks for adults and kids.
This festival will feature activities such as walking the plank, pirate costume competitions, and a talking-like-a-pirate contest. “We are excited to bring this unique festival to Mackinac Island guests again this summer,” said Mackinac Island Ferry Company CEO Jerry Fetty. “The festival marks the official launch of our Good Fortune pirate ship for the summer months.”
The Good Fortune will also be offering special cruises in the evening throughout the entire summer for those who want to get even closer to their inner pirate spirit. These Family and Nauti +21 cruises will include water cannons, drinks, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
